If an international payment is made, no matter what it is for, does it have GST?
No. GST is a New Zealand tax so we only pay and claim GST on transactions made within New Zealand. Occasionally we might pay some money to a New Zealand office of an overseas company though, so if you’re unsure always check with your accountant.
