My Accountant has given me some new opening balances – should I change these in MYOB?

Please do not change the opening balances!  These are a one-off part of the initial MYOB set up and should never be changed.   Every year your accountant will give you a final set of financial accounts and these should only ever be adjusted by a JOURNAL into your MYOB file.   We recommend you seek advice from us or another MYOB expert to help you with this “rollover” process once a year.
