I want to do a report ending 30/4/09 but it looks as though the program is only set up for the 2009 year and won’t let me do it. I picked “account transactions (cash)” and put in the date range to 30/4/09 and it says “the date must fall within the current, previous or next financial year”…..? Is there something in set up I need to change, please?

What it sounds like is that we need to rollover your MYOB file, and before we do that we will need to do some journals to match your figures to the new balances that have been provided by your accountant.   MYOB only allows you to run certain financial reports (including your GST return) for the “current” financial year, “last” year, and “next” year.   Your ability to run reports depends on how up to date you are with rollovers. ***Note:   To check the “current” financial year in your MYOB file, go into:   Setup – Company Information.   Aspire can easily help with rollovers no matter where you are in the country, it is usually a very straight forward remote access job!
