On my Trial Balance report, the YTD Debits and Credits do not match. I thought all accounting entries had a debit and a credit so they should always match - have I done something wrong?


You are right!  The debits and credits should always match so I would suggest you may have an error in your MYOB file.  Try Optimizing your file first (File - Optimise) then run a data verification (File - Verify).  If this process does not fix the problem, it should at least highlight the error for you so you can address it.  You may need to go to MYOB for a data file repair if it is a serious problem.
